1pm: Welcome and opening introduction Phil Agnew, The Brother Walfrid Memorial Fund Committee

'If You Know The History' - Screening of Brother Walfrid video, narrated by
Neil Lennon, captain of Celtic Football Club.

2pm: Unveiling ceremony
Opening remarks - Phil Agnew
Opening procession. Tune: 'The West's Awake'; Piper: Tommy Harrison

Introductions:
Professor Thomas M. Devine, Director of the Research Institute of Irish and
Scottish Studies at the University of Aberdeen.

2.10pm: Speeches

Brian Quinn, Chairman, Celtic plc
Billy McNeill, former Celtic FC player, captain and manager
Eddie Toner, chairperson, The Brother Walfrid Memorial Fund Committee.

2.30pm: Unveiling of Statue

Children's Guard of Honour
Unveiling performed by:

Brian Quinn, Sean Fallon, (Sligo-born patron of the Brother Walfrid Memorial Committee and former Celtic FC player,
 assistant manager and manager), Andrew Kerins (grandnephew of Brother Walfrid), Mrs Mary Healy ( grandniece of
Brother Walfrid), Ahmed Sumunu and Cherif Gasmi of the Scottish Refugee Council

2.40pm: Blessing of Memorial Statue

The Most Reverend Mario Conti, Archbishop of Glasgow

2.45pm: Special presentation to Celtic FC by the Archdiocese of Glasgow

2.50pm: Musical Interlude
