Alison Mc Cafferty, Tony Farrell and Pat Brusnahan now have access to the website and they need to liase to see what each one does as it was suggested each have different access although no firm decision was taken about this.. Alison has tested it and it is working and will load any information sent on e mail to her.
Crib sheets now available to any club by contacting Shahid.
Tony Farrell to chase up the 4 outstanding clubs who have not loaded their information.
Again the subject came up about the benefits of joining the association and it was mentioned that John Paul Taylor has indicated that tickets for any home games will be made available to members prior to going on general sale. He has also indicated he is willing to attend a future meeting if requested. Tony Farrell to invite him to attend one at his own convenience. It would be nice to see a good attendance at this.
We should be using the fact that we are not in Europe to forge relations with Celtic. Getting tickets for games now might help for future European Games and even if we were to join the Premiership.
People have asked if we should have a centralised meeting point in Glasgow so we can share tickets not being used . While it seems a good idea most clubs seem to meet at various venues. It may be something we need to look into as it would give us an identity in Glasgow.
This seems to be another area that we could utilise the website along with having a section answering above questions in the guise of FAQ.
The association has also negotiated deals with three hotels in Glasgow namely
Rennie Mc Intosh - £25 pp
The Milenium - £75 for a double room
Jury’s ( 2 nights only) £54
All above numbers posted on website or available by contacting Tony Farrell. Tony to also try and draw up an agreement even if it means providing each hotel with an affiliated list.
Each club to provide 2 names for contacting about meetings etc.
Polsat was on most peoples mind . The Wimbledon club have mentioned a fee of £280. Whilst it can be got there is no guarantee that live matches will be shown. There seems to be a delay even to the next day.
Wimbledon to keep us updated.
The next meeting has been arranged for Monday 14th Nvember at 7.30 p.m. at Shepherds Bush No 1 Princess Victoria, 217 Uxbridge Road, London W12 9DH. The December meeting will be hosted by the Robert Emmett CSC on Monday 12th December in Kilburn.
