Notes
Minutes of previous meeting read and agreed. Any matters arising would be discussed during the meeting.

Shahid apologised for not contacting anyone and has vowed to try and contact people once he knows for definite who has volunteered to have access to the site. Alison Mc Cafferty from Brighton has offered to help anyone who wants to load anything on it if they e mail it to her first. E mail address is in mailing list.

Shahid will amend any areas required such as committee members etc. and post minutes once approved. Site to be amended daily/weekly once people have been given the access needed.  Other information that could be included and linked to members own sites is the facility to e mail your own members Celtic’s fixture list and possibly a notice/ message board.

He has also asked if clubs want information included on their own sites to be loaded on the TALCSC . Most members felt this was a good idea. Clubs will be responsible for getting that information to the elected few with access to the site. Again Alison will help anyone out with this. Anyone wishing to become involved contact Alison.

He would like this to become a search engine for Celtic Supporters Clubs.  The site needs to be populated by clubs who have not already done so. This can be done by clicking on the link and loading the information requested.

Packie is still not available and Tony Farrell  will act as secretary until Packie is back on board.

Attendance was a lot better at this meeting and hopefully it will continue like this if it to be a success.

It is very disappointing that only 11 clubs have paid up their fees and everyone is urged to pay up and become more active. If,  as has been hinted t The Old Firm join the Premiership then The Association should be strong enough here to get tickets for games taking place in London.

Keith Young from Croydon thought there would be more clubs affiliated to the London Association in light of the attendances Celtic attract for Fulham etc.

People discussed certain ideas and felt they should be shared with other clubs in particular attracting and keeping existing members. Wimbledon stipulate that members must use season tickets if they are to be included in the draw for tickets for The Old Firm Games.

Croydon have offered two tickets as a prize for renewals received on or before the 30th of September.

Tony Rooney from St. Pat’s has mentioned that his members, as I’m sure others have as well , asked  what specific advantages could the TALCSC afford individual affiliated clubs, over and above what could be done by the clubs themselves. Reply came back that
by having a strong representative of Celtic Clubs in London may influence
Celtic regarding tickets for games, organised European trips under the
banner of TALCSC,

John Paul Taylor from Celtic has stated that the Association  would be able to make a  block booking of tickets for home games other than the Old Firm games ,in advance of them going on general sale. Contact Tony Farrell for further information.

Some clubs share books and if clubs are not using their tickets then the Association could become a tool for sharing tickets.

Jim Ward  mentioned  the unveiling of the Statue to Brother Walfrid is on
Saturday 5 November at 2 p.m. They are having a gala style event and have
been promised by the Club that if the weather turns out to be rather
inclement (i.e. pissing down, November.......Scotland, yeah that'll be
right!), they would afford all patrons the facilities of the ground.

Anyone with any ideas for fund raising and wishing to share the information with other clubs could do so at the next meeting either by bringing to the  meeting or letting Tony Farrell know if they want it included on the agenda. Tony to send an e mail prior to this asking for items for an agenda..

A Polish satellite company is apparently advertising a dish for about £250 - £300 with a view to showing Live Celtic home games. Jim Blackwood from  Wimbledon may be able to help interested clubs.

Next meeting set for the 10th of October in The Cock Tavern.

Meeting closed at approx 9.30
