Notes
All in attendance agreed it was of paramount importance that the website was up and running so that all member clubs could load any relevant information on the site.

Tony Farrell to contact Shahid to see what information people need to access the site i.e. passwords, software etc. Tony to also ask Shahid to load information re tickets and hotel deals available on the site)

We decided to go ahead and elect a committee as it’s been postponed already and clubs want to see some progress made at this stage. The following officers were elected.

  • Chairman : Sam Mc Ewan ( Henrik Larsson)
  • Secretary  :  Billy Connolly ( Robert Emmet)
  • Treasurer:    Pat Brusnahan ( West London)
  • Joint Minutes Secretary: Tony Byrne ( Bhoys of Croydon)
  • John Lafferty ( Sorry John I don’t remember which club you  belong to)
  • Committee Member : Tony Farrell ( Wimbledon)

If there are any more volunteers who would like to be nominated for an office on the committee please let it be known before the next meeting.

Joe Mackay asked if a new member could join the committee at a later date. The answer would be no but they could become a delegate and opt for election at the next AGM.

Billy Connolly was concerned that not all clubs who have joined are attending meetings and Tony Farrell suggested we each adopt a club and try and persuade them to attend future meetings.

It was also suggested that clubs who are not attending should be offered the chance to hold a future meeting in their club. With that in mind have we got a volunteer to host the May10th meeting. Preference will be given to one of the clubs not in regular attendance.

Please let Tony Farrell know if you are interested before 8th of April which is the date of our next meeting due to be held in The Robert Emmet Club in Kilburn.

There is no news yet regarding an end of season event.

Sam Mc Ewan talked about the annual North of England 7 a side football competition and asked clubs to ask their members if they had any players interested in playing in this prestigious event. Please let Sam know before the 4th of April.

Meeting closed at 9.00 pm
